Requirements

• Account level: Pest Control is a members-only combat minigame. You need at least level 40 Combat to use the novice lander, 70+ Combat for the intermediate lander, and 100+ Combat for the veteran lander.

Experience rates & points

• Commendation points: Winning games awards Void Knight commendation points, which you can exchange for combat experience, Void Knight equipment, and resource packs. You also receive coins equal to 10 × your combat level for each win.
• Points per win:
  • Novice lander: 3–6 points per win depending on your Combat Achievements tier.
  • Intermediate lander: 4–7 points per win.
  • Veteran lander: 5–8 points per win.
• Game length & throughput: Under ideal conditions (strong teams, minimal waiting), games often take around 2 minutes by quickly destroying all four portals. The wiki estimates that earning the 850 points required for a standard Void set takes roughly 3.5–9.5 hours depending on lander and Combat Achievements tier.
• XP per hour: Your actual XP/hr depends on how you spend commendation points, your combat levels, and how fast your team completes games. Higher-tier boats and Combat Achievements improve XP/hr by giving more points per successful run.

Rewards

• Void Knight armour: Commendation points can be spent on the Void Knight set (top, robe, gloves, and a helm). A regular set with one helm costs 850 points, while elite upgrades for the top and robe cost 200 points each after the Hard Western Provinces Diary.
• Void helms: Unlock the Void melee, Void ranger, and Void mage helms, along with their ornament variants, to complete different Void setups.
• Other rewards: Points can also be traded for:
  • Combat experience in selected skills.
  • Resource packs and supplies.
  • The Void seal and other Void-related items.
